DESCRIBE your musical tastes

I'm not just asking what bands you like, there's plenty of room for that elsewhere on this forum. I'm asking you to describe your tatses in your own words.
For example, I know alot of people will say 'varied', and that's excellent, we like varied! I'd describe my own as more 'extreme' (as in, in opposite directions), depending on the mood and what I'm doing. I don't like 'a bit of everything' like other people. For example, today I worked out in my home gym and listened to Pantera's 'Far Beyond Driven' (the IDEAL workout music by the way!) and Dimmu Borgir' s 'Death Cult Armageddon' album. Then I went to relax and read a book and I listened to Enya's 'watermark' album. Like I said, pretty extreme, from brutally heavy to extremely quiet and ambient.
