BUFFALO - HSBC Arena (19,200)
The home of the NHL's Buffalo Sabres, one of my fav teams in the league (and the cheapest tickets in the NHL), the HSBC Arena, in downtown Buffalo, New York. The arena was built in 1996 at a cost of $127.5 million. Originally known as the Marine Midland Arena, it became the HSBC Arena and the Sabres made the 1998/99 Stanley Cup Finals in this building, only to lose to Dallas. It seats 18,690 for hockey and varies for concerts and other events. I have been to this arena 11 times in the last 3 years. Such an amazing arena to have so cheap tickets and so new too!
